Dr. Vajda attended in September 7-12, 2008 the conference on applied statistics ROBUST 2008 taking place in Pribylina, Slovakia. This conference was organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague, and the Institute of Measurement of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava. He presented there a lecture entitled "On efficiency of decisions about statistical models based on f-divergences of empirical distributions", and submitted for the prepared Robust-08 Proceedings an original research paper with the same title.
