This paper focuses on uncertainty in many areas of modern industry. Basic attribute of lexical constructs is their uncertainty in construct – vagueness. We identify the problems in the current methods and suggest general model of approaching to a solution of these problems. After we formulate the problem we try to show this general model of approach and show the application in two areas of interest: in process of data migration between different database management systems and in IT/IS security management process.
