Optimality is treated on the basis of the rate of this converegence. The paper presents criteria for asymptotic sufficiency and optimality. Practical applicability of these criteria is illustrated by examples.</abstract> <abstract language="cze" primary="0">Studují se tzv. asymptoticky postačující kvantování statistických pozorovacích prostorů, při kterých ztráta informace konverguje k nule. Optimalnost se odvozuje od rychlosti této konvergence. Práce poskytuje kriteria pro asymptotickou postačitelnost a optimálnost kvantování.
