Gaussian mixture model is used for clustering of texture feature vectors.  EM algorithm is used for Gaussian mixture model parameters estimation.  To demonstrate the method, experiment with real data is presented, diagnosing  the common liver lesions using computed tomography (CT) images.</abstract> <abstract language="cze" primary="0">V tomto článku je prezentována metoda po diagnostiku s použitím Gaussovských směsí.  Gaussovský směsový model je použit pro shlukování charakteristických vektorů.  Pro odhad parametrů Gaussovské směsi byl použit EM algoritmus.
