The benchmark verifies their performance characteristics  on monospectral, multispectral, bidirectional texture function (BTF) data and  enables  to test their noise robustness, scale, and rotation or  illumination  invariance. It can easily be  used for other applications such as feature selection, image compression, and query by pictorial example, etc. The benchmark functionalities are demonstrated on five previously published image segmentation algorithms evaluation.</abstract> <abstract language="cze" primary="0">Pražský texturní segmentační datový generátor a benchmark je webová služba ( http://mosaic.utia.cas.cz),  navržená pro vzájemné srovnávání a hodnocení různých texturních segmentačních metod a pro podporu vývoje nových segmentačních a klasifikačních metod. Benchmark ověří jejich vlastnosti na monospektrálních, multispektrálních nebo dvousměrných (BTF) texturních datech a umožňuje testovat i jejich odolnost vúči šumu  nebo  rotaci  a invariantnost ke změně měřítka nebo osvětlení. Benchmark může být snadno použit i pro jiné aplikace, jako jsou výběr příznaků, obrazová komprese, nebo vyhledávání podobného obrazu.
