Their representation by means of information gains is established and used to derive some new properties, and also to derive in a new manner some known properties. Statistical sufficiency and deficiency in the problem of testing hypotheses is characterized by means of f-divergences and the rate of convergence of the testing errors for increasing sigma-algebras is evaluated in some important cases.
<reportyear>2010</reportyear> <RIV>BB</RIV> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0176728</permalink> <arlyear>2008</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0331115 Advances in Inequalities from Probability Theory and Statistics 1-60021-943-8 113 149 Pokroky v nerovnostech pro teorii pravděpodobnosti a statistiku Toronto Nova Publishers 2008 Advances in Mathematical Inequalities </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Barnett Neil 340 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Dragomir Sever 340 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
