At the beginning, there is a brief outline of the possible ways of the data transfer and acquisition in general. Then, the ZigBee communication protocol used for full bidirectional wireless data transfer is presented. The ZigBee is a one of advanced communication protocols for the automation. The realization of the communication with addition of infrared monitoring is demonstrated in mechatronic manipulation system.
