However, their concept, represented by a fixed rotary shank tool in a stationary or a displaceable spindle and sliding carriages supporting workpiece gripper, is limited in the motion dynamics and coordination. It can be overcome by a different machine construction based on parallel kinematic concept enabling main operational tool-spindle to move in all axes of 3D space simultaneously. The contribution deals with a suitable solution of homing, calibration and control operations for top milling machine using just idea of parallel concept.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0264515</ARLID> <name>International Chemnitz Manufacturing Colloquium</name> <place>Chemnitz</place> <dates>29.09.2010-30.09.2010</dates> <country>DE</country> </action> <reportyear>2011</reportyear> <RIV>BC</RIV> <num_of_auth>1</num_of_auth> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0188471</permalink> <arlyear>2010</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0347770 Proceedings of the International Chemnitz Manufacturing Colloquium ICMC 2010 54 978-3-942267-04-5 719 726 Chemnitz Fraunhofer IWU 2010 Reports from the IWU </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Neugebauer Reimund 340 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
