We show that belief networks reconstructed from multidimensional models based on recently introduced operator of composition of basic assignments have similar structural properties to Bayesian networks. On the other hand, it is not valid for previously proposed directed evidential networks by Ben Yaghlane at al. The difference between the structural properties of models based on these two approaches is illustrated by a simple example.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0266375</ARLID> <name>Czech-Japan Seminar on Data Analysis and Decision Making under Uncertainty /13./</name> <place>Otaru</place> <dates>03.11.2010-05.11.2010</dates> <country>JP</country> </action> <reportyear>2011</reportyear> <RIV>BA</RIV> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0190767</permalink> <arlyear>2010</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0350887 Proceedigs of 13h Czech-Japan Seminar on Data Analysis amd Decision Making in Service Science 37 42 Otaru Otaru University 2010 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
