Gobbino and R.S. Simon, How many times can a function be iterated?, ArXiv:0901.3230v2, 2011] where the main problem is formulated as follows: Let C be a closed subset of a topological space X and f a continuous map from C to X with the property that the boundary of C is mapped to C. How many times can we iterate f? The talk summarizes the known results, examples, open problems and applications.
<action target="EUR"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0275614</ARLID> <name>Visegrad Conference on Dynamical Systems 2011</name> <place>Banská Bystrica</place> <dates>27.06.2011-03.07.2011</dates> <country>SK</country> </action> <reportyear>2012</reportyear> <RIV>BC</RIV> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0201361</permalink> <arlyear>2011</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU56"> textový dokument 254 kB </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0366314 Visegrad Conference on Dynamical Systems 2011 1 17 Banská Bystrica Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University 2011 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
