It specifies their appearance due to varying spatial, illumination, and viewing conditions. Corresponding enormous BTF measurements require a mathematical representation allowing extreme compression but simultaneously preserving its high visual fidelity. We present a novel BTF model based on a set of underlying mono-spectral two-dimensional (2D) moving average factors. A mono-spectral moving average model assumes that a stochastic mono-spectral texture is produced by convolving an uncorrelated 2D random field with a 2D filter which completely characterizes the texture. The BTF model combines several multi-spectral band limited spatial factors, subsequently factorized into a set of mono-spectral moving average representations, and range map to produce the required BTF texture space.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0293319</ARLID> <name>International Conference on Computer Analysis of Images and Patterns (CAIP 2013) /15./</name> <place>York</place> <dates>27.08.2013-29.08.2013</dates> <country>GB</country> </action> <reportyear>2014</reportyear> <RIV>BD</RIV> <num_of_auth>2</num_of_auth> <presentation_type> PR </presentation_type> <inst_support> RVO:67985556 </inst_support> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0223841</permalink> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-q">100</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-s">0.325</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-y">16.75</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-x">0.51</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-4">Q2</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-E">Q3</unknown> <arlyear>2013</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0395213 Computer Analysis of Images and Patterns Part II II 978-3-642-40245-6 0302-9743 338 345 Heidelberg Springer 2013 Lecture Notes in Computer Science 8048 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Wilson Richard 340 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Bors Adrian 340 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Hancock Edwin 340 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Smith William 340 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
