Both algorithms start with spectral factorization of an input multispectral texture image using the Karhunen-Loeve expansion. Single orthogonal monospectral components are further decomposed into a multi-resolution grid and each resolution data are independently modeled by their dedicated monospectral models which are either a Gaussian Markov random field model (GMRF) or a causal simultaneous autoregressive model (CAR).
<action target=""> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0212648</ARLID> <name>World Multiconference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics</name> <place>Orlando</place> <country>US</country> <dates>23.07.2000-26.07.2000</dates> </action> <RIV>BD</RIV> <department>RO</department> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0130436</permalink> <ID_orig>UTIA-B 20000062</ID_orig> <arlyear>2000</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> 2000 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> Orlando International Institute of Informatics and Systemics </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU12"> 980-07-6693-6 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> Proceedings of the World Multiconference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics 634 639 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Sanchez B. 340 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Pineda J.
