The editorial work presents the results of research activities of the staff of Faculty of Management (University of Economics, Prague) and its co-workers in the framework of the research project "Multidisciplinary Support of Management". Its goal is to interconnect research activities in the field of decision processes (quantitative methods, pattern recognition, neural nets, fuzzy methods, expert and knowledge-based systems) with research in economics and management.
