Their subclass of so called "perfect sequences", are equivalent to the class of distributions represented by Bayesian networks. The famous d-separation criterion enables the user to read all the conditional independence relations among the variables of a Bayesian network. This paper shows how to get the same information for distributions represented by perfect sequences.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0212914</ARLID> <name>IPMU '2002 /9./</name> <place>Annecy</place> <country>FR</country> <dates>01.07.2002-05.07.2002</dates> </action> <RIV>BA</RIV> <department>MTR</department> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0130946</permalink> <ID_orig>UTIA-B 20020073</ID_orig> <arlyear>2002</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> 2002 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> Annecy ESIA </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU12"> 2-9516453-3-3 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> Proceedings of the 9th Information Processing and Management of Uncertainty in Knowledge-based Systems 1261 1267 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
