Segmentation based on chromatic information uses separate chromatic histograms or a simple color filtering account. Another method extracts image signatures by projecting logarithmic-polar mappings onto 1D vectors. An achromatic segmentation method is also presented based on gray-level morphological operators. Comparission of different autofocusing algorithms is also given.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0212979</ARLID> <name>International Symposium on Optical Science and Technology /47./</name> <place>Seattle</place> <country>US</country> <dates>07.07.2002-11.07.2002</dates> </action> <RIV>BD</RIV> <department>ZOI</department> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0131048</permalink> <ID_orig>UTIA-B 20020175</ID_orig> <arlyear>2002</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> 2002 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> Bellingham SPIE </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> Photonic Devices and Algorithms for Computing IV.
