Image registration is the process of overlaying images of the same scene taken at different times, from different viewpoints, and/or by different sensors. The reviewed approaches are classified according to their nature and according to four basic steps of image registration procedure. Main contributions and drawbacks of methods are mentioned. Outlook for the future research are disscussed too.
<RIV>JD</RIV> <department>ZOI</department> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0131225</permalink> <ID_orig>UTIA-B 20030125</ID_orig> <arlyear>2003</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0256733 Image and Vision Computing 0262-8856 1872-8138 Roč. 21 č. 11 2003 977 1000 Elsevier </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
