We show that the both the strict and the non-strict Archimedean copulas form dense subclasses of the class of associative copulas. We characterize copulas, which are invariant under the construction of survival copulas, and some related classes of copulas. Finally, we present an application of copulas in aggregation theory.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0213100</ARLID> <name>Linz Seminar on Fuzzy Set Theory /24./</name> <place>Linz</place> <country>AT</country> <dates>04.02.2003-08.02.2003</dates> </action> <RIV>BA</RIV> <department>E</department> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0131265</permalink> <ID_orig>UTIA-B 20030166</ID_orig> <arlyear>2003</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> 2003 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> Linz JKU Linz </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> Triangular Norms and Related Operators in Many-Valued Logics 96 100 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Klement E.
