Sets of fuzzy IF-THEN rules are called linguistic descriptions. Perceptions are linguistic expressions derived on the basis of observation in a concrete context. They can be used in logical deduction which gives a piecewise continuous function. The paper contains a method for making it smooth.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0213130</ARLID> <name>Fuzzy Information Processing</name> <place>Beijing</place> <country>CN</country> <dates>01.03.2003-04.03.2003</dates> </action> <RIV>BA</RIV> <department>E</department> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0131322</permalink> <ID_orig>UTIA-B 20030223</ID_orig> <arlyear>2003</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> 2003 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU10"> Beijing Springer </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU12"> 7-302-06299-4 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> Proceedings of the International Conference on Fuzzy Information Processing: Theories and Applications 599 604 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Liu Y. 340 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Chen G. 340 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Ying M. 340 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
