Okrem pôvodnej triedy SETAR modelov používame na modelovanie aj novú triedu STAR s niektorými modifikáciami, pri ktorých dochádza k postupnému prechodu medzi rôznymi režimami, pričom sa aplikuje vážený priemer vzťahov určujúcich tieto režimy.</abstract> <abstract language="eng" primary="0">Several geodetic time series modelling requires the application of nonlinear regime-switching models.
