This paper approaches the problem of model validation using Bayesian formulation and solution. An algorithm for validation of models estimated within the practically important exponential family is presented. Performance of the algorithms is illustrated on simulated  example.</abstract> <abstract language="cze" primary="0">Ověření platnosti modelu je nezbytným krokem po identifikaci modelu. V tomto příspěvku popisujeme obecný Bayesovský přístup k tomuto problému a jeho řešení. Je zde popsán konkrétní algoritmus pro ověřování modelů z důležité exponenciální rodiny.
