The affine transform is decomposed into translation, scaling, stretching, two rotations and  mirror reflection. The object is successively normalized to these elementary transforms by means of low order moments. After normalization, other moments of normalized object can be used as affine invariant features of the original object. We pay special attention to the normalization of symmetric objects.</abstract> <abstract language="cze" primary="0">Pro konstrukci afinních momentových invariantů je použita nová metoda normalizace. Afinní transformace je rozložena na posunutí, změnu měřítka, natažení, dvě rotace a zrcadlové otočení. Objekt je postupně normalizován k těmto elementárním transformacím pomocí momentů nízkých řádů. Po normalizaci mohou být ostatní momenty normalizovaného objektu použity jako afinně invariantní příznaky původního objektu pro rozpoznávání.
