The set of images of thyroid gland of patients with known diagnosis is used for learning. Then diagnosing is performed with images from unknown patient. Inference is based on Bayesian framework. Gaussian mixture model is used for modelling of pattern feature vector. Method is tested on sample of patients with and without Hashimoto's lymphocytic thyroiditis, using leave-one-out method.</abstract> <abstract language="cze" primary="0">Článek se zabývá použitím sonografických obrazů pro diagnostiku štítné žlázy. Množina obrazů pacientů se známou diagnostikou je použita k učení. Gaussovská směs popisující vector příznaků je naučena s využitím bayesovské metodiky a použita pro diagnostiku nových pacientů.
