The corresponding texture representation in the form of Bidirectional Texture Function (BTF) enables significant improvements of virtual models realism at the expense of immense increase of sample data space. In this paper we introduce a polynomial extension of the one-lobe Lafortune model and its generalisation allowing seamless BTF texture enlargement.</abstract> <abstract language="cze" primary="0">Současný pokrok v počítačové technice a virtuálním modelování dovoluje respektovat vizuální závislost povrchu přírodních materiálů na úhlech pohledu a osvětlení. Odpovídající texturní reprezentace ve formě  Bidirectional Texture Function (BTF) umožňuje výrazné zlepšení realismu virtuálních modelů za cenu ohromného nárůstu dat.
