Monocentric lenses are superior in performance over other wide field-of-view lenses with the drawback that they form a hemispheric image plane which is incompatible with current sensor technology. Fiber optic bundles can be used to relay the image the lens produces to the sensor's planar surface. This requires image processing to correct for artifacts inherent to fiber bundle image transfer. Using a prototype fiber coupled monocentric lens imager we capture single exposure focal swept images from which we seek to produce extended depth-of-focus images. Point spread functions (PSF) were measured in lab and found to be both angle and depth dependent. This spatial variance enforces the requirement that the inverse problem be treated as such.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0306649</ARLID> <name>Novel Optical Systems Design and Optimization XVII</name> <dates>17.08.2014-21.08.2014</dates> <place>San Diego</place> <country>US</country> </action> <RIV>JD</RIV> <FORD0>20000</FORD0> <FORD1>20200</FORD1> <FORD2>20206</FORD2> <reportyear>2015</reportyear> <num_of_auth>13</num_of_auth> <presentation_type> PR </presentation_type> <inst_support> RVO:67985556 </inst_support> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0237781</permalink> <unknown tag="mrcbC61"> 1 </unknown> <confidential>S</confidential> <unknown tag="mrcbC83"> RIV/67985556:_____/14:00431984!RIV15-GA0-67985556 152501226 Doplnění UT WOS a Scopus </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbC83"> RIV/67985556:_____/14:00431984!RIV15-AV0-67985556 152460113 Doplnění UT WOS a Scopus </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-q">90</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-s">0.238</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-y">14.39</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-x">0.32</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-E">Q4</unknown> <arlyear>2014</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU14"> 84922931939 SCOPUS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU34"> 000354367700006 WOS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0433593 Novel Optical Systems Design and Optimization XVII 978-1-62841-220-8 0277-786X Bellingham SPIE 2014 SPIE Proceedings 9193 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
