For appropriate quantification of vibration parameters, the subjected waveforms should be as smooth as possible. However, in practice, they are often unsmooth due to digital quantization noise. Here we test the use of Bezier curves, known from graphics programs, for smoothly characterizing the shape of kymographic waveforms.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0358160</ARLID> <name>The 12th International Conference on Advances in Quantitative Laryngology, Voice and Speech Research</name> <dates>20171017</dates> <place>Hongkong</place> <country>HK</country> <unknown tag="mrcbC20-s">20171021</unknown> </action> <RIV>JC</RIV> <FORD0>20000</FORD0> <FORD1>20200</FORD1> <FORD2>20206</FORD2> <reportyear>2018</reportyear> <num_of_auth>4</num_of_auth> <unknown tag="mrcbC52"> 4 O 4o 20231122143027.4 </unknown> <presentation_type> PR </presentation_type> <inst_support> RVO:67985556 </inst_support> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0281407</permalink> <cooperation> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0358158</ARLID> <name>Palacky University Olomouc, Department of Biophysics, Faculty of Science</name> <institution>UPOL BF</institution> <country>CZ</country> </cooperation> <cooperation> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0357460</ARLID> <name>Medical Healthcom spol.s r.o.</name> <institution>MH</institution> </cooperation> <confidential>S</confidential> <arlyear>2017</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbTft"> Soubory v repozitáři: 0486535.pdf </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU14"> SCOPUS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU24"> PUBMED </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU34"> WOS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0486534 The 12th International Conference on Advances in Quantitative Laryngology, Voice and Speech Research 21 21 The 12th International Conference on Advances in Quantitative Laryngology, Voice and Speech Research Honk Kong The University of Hong Kong 2017 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
