Combining the methods of GFs and discretetime systems, we can develop two dimensional digital systems for systematic generation of entire orders of Zernike polynomials. We establish two different formulas for the GF of the radial Zernike polynomials based on both the degree and the azimuthal order of the radial polynomials. In this paper, we use four terms recurrence relation instead of the ordinary three terms recursion to calculate the radial Zernike polynomials and their GFs using unilateral 2D Z-transform. A spatio-temporal implementation scheme is developed for generation of the radial Zernike polynomials. Since Zernike moments (ZMs) are invariant with respect to rotation, translation and scaling, the experimental schemes show the image classification applications by using the proposed algorithm.
<action target="WRD"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0382777</ARLID> <name>International Conference of Image Processing, Theory, Tools &amp; Applications, IPTA 2019 /9./</name> <dates>20191106</dates> <unknown tag="mrcbC20-s">20191109</unknown> <place>Istanbul</place> <country>TR</country> </action> <RIV>JD</RIV> <FORD0>20000</FORD0> <FORD1>20200</FORD1> <FORD2>20206</FORD2> <reportyear>2020</reportyear> <num_of_auth>3</num_of_auth> <unknown tag="mrcbC52"> 4 A sml 4as 20241106135754.0 </unknown> <presentation_type> PR </presentation_type> <inst_support> RVO:67985556 </inst_support> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0302691</permalink> <unknown tag="mrcbC61"> 1 </unknown> <cooperation> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0382778</ARLID> <name>Through-Life Engineering Services Centre, School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing, Cranfield University, Cranfield, Bedfordshire MK43 0AL, UK</name> <country>GB</country> </cooperation> <confidential>S</confidential> <contract> <name>COPYRIGHT AND CONSENT FORM</name> <date>20190828</date> </contract> <arlyear>2019</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbTft"> Soubory v repozitáři: flusser-0511257-CopyrightReceipt.pdf </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU14"> 85077968922 SCOPUS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU24"> PUBMED </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU34"> WOS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0517369 Proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Image Processing Theory, Tools and Applications IPTA 2019 978-1-7281-3975-3 Piscataway IEEE 2019 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
