We introduce an asymptotic observer of constant gain for nonlinear systems that have linear input. This allows the observer design to be formulated within the linear matrix inequality paradigm provided that a strictly positive real condition between the input disturbance and the output is fulfilled. The proposed observer is then applied to a large class of nonlinear Chemostat dynamical systems that are widely used in the fermentation process, cell cultures, medicine, etc. In fact, under standard practical assumptions, the necessary change of the Chemostat state coordinates exists, allowing use of the constant gain observer. Finally, the developed theory is illustrated by estimating pollutant concentration in a Spirulina maxima wastewater treatment facility.
<reportyear>2022</reportyear> <RIV>BC</RIV> <result_subspec>WOS</result_subspec> <FORD0>20000</FORD0> <FORD1>20200</FORD1> <FORD2>20205</FORD2> <num_of_auth>4</num_of_auth> <unknown tag="mrcbC52"> 4 A sml 4as 20231122145216.6 </unknown> <inst_support> RVO:67985556 </inst_support> <permalink>http://hdl.handle.net/11104/0312001</permalink> <cooperation> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0398287</ARLID> <name>Automatic Control Department, CINVESTAV, Mexico City</name> <institution>ACD, Cinvestav</institution> <country>MX</country> </cooperation> <cooperation> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0398288</ARLID> <name>Biotechnology and Bioengineering Department, CINVESTAV, Mexico City</name> <institution>BBD, Cinvestav</institution> <country>MX</country> </cooperation> <confidential>S</confidential> <contract> <name>Copyright Transfer Statement</name> <date>20200921</date> </contract> <unknown tag="mrcbC86"> 3+4 Article Computer Science Information Systems|Computer Science Software Engineering|Engineering Electrical Electronic </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbC91"> C </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-e">COMPUTERSCIENCE.INFORMATIONSYSTEMS|COMPUTERSCIENCE.SOFTWAREENGINEERING|ENGINEERING.ELECTRICAL&amp;ELECTRONIC</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-f">2.390</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-g">0.547</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-h">3.3</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-i">0.00302</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-j">0.487</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-k">1722</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-q">53</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-s">0.733</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-y">37.77</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-x">3.05</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-3">1341</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-4">Q2</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-5">2.332</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-6">117</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-7">Q2</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-C">45</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-D">Q3</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-E">Q2</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-M">0.56</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-N">Q3</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-P">55</unknown> <arlyear>2021</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbTft"> Soubory v repozitáři: celikovsky-0533650-Copyright_ Transfer_Statement-2.pdf </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU14"> 85100503079 SCOPUS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU24"> PUBMED </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU34"> 000609181400006 WOS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0475466 Frontiers of Information Technology &amp; Electronic Engineering 2095-9184 2095-9230 Roč. 22 č. 1 2021 68 78 Zheijiang University Press </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
