In this paper, multivariate permutation tests of exchangeability of multivariate distributions are proposed, which are based on the non-parametric combination methodology, i.e. on combining non-parametric bivariate exchangeability tests. Numerical experiments on real as well as simulated multivariate data with more than two dimensions are presented here. The multivariate permutation test turns out to be typically more powerful than a bivariate exchangeability test performed only over a single pair of variables, and also more suitable compared to tests exploiting the approaches of Benjamini–Yekutieli or Bonferroni.
<result_subspec>WOS</result_subspec> <RIV>BB</RIV> <FORD0>10000</FORD0> <FORD1>10100</FORD1> <FORD2>10103</FORD2> <reportyear>2024</reportyear> <inst_support> RVO:67985556 </inst_support> <permalink>https://hdl.handle.net/11104/0351584</permalink> <confidential>S</confidential> <unknown tag="mrcbC86"> Article Statistics Probability </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbC91"> A </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-e">STATISTICS&PROBABILITY</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-f">1.4</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-g">0.4</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-h">8.7</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-i">0.00416</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-j">0.483</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-k">3925</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-q">72</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-s">0.545</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-y">34.62</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-x">1.41</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-3">895</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-4">Q2</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-5">1.000</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-6">86</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-7">Q2</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-C">56.3</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-D">Q4</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-E">Q3</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-M">0.58</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-N">Q2</unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbT16-P">56.3</unknown> <arlyear>2023</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU14"> 85134794382 SCOPUS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU24"> PUBMED </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU34"> 000830637300001 WOS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0253572 Journal of Applied Statistics Roč. 50 č. 15 2023 3142 3156 0266-4763 1360-0532 Taylor & Francis </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
