While its mathematical structure is well established, its application beyond microscopic phenomena remains an area of active discussion. This work illustrates the axioms of QM in an intuitive, accessible way through a textbook-style example designed to parallel decision-making tasks. The seemingly trivial setup raises questions about the interpretation and under- standing of the underlying model. While it does not aim to introduce new results in quantum theory, it serves as a conceptual bridge, demonstrating fundamental princi- ples in a context involving a living organism. The approach may prove useful as a foundation for quantum-inspired models of decision-making and living systems. Links to contemporary interpretations of QM are also discussed.
<action target="CST"> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0503820</ARLID> <name>Studentská vědecká konference fyziky pevných látek, fotoniky a materiálů 2025 (S2PAM14) /14./</name> <dates>20250923</dates> <unknown tag="mrcbC20-s">20250926</unknown> <place>Byňov, Nové Hrady</place> <country>CZ</country> </action> <RIV>BC</RIV> <FORD0>10000</FORD0> <FORD1>10100</FORD1> <FORD2>10102</FORD2> <reportyear>2026</reportyear> <num_of_auth>2</num_of_auth> <presentation_type> PR </presentation_type> <inst_support> RVO:67985556 </inst_support> <permalink>https://hdl.handle.net/11104/0375859</permalink> <cooperation> <ARLID>cav_un_auth*0329918</ARLID> <name>FJFI ČVUT Praha</name> <country>CZ</country> </cooperation> <confidential>S</confidential> <arlyear>2025</arlyear> <unknown tag="mrcbU02"> C </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU14"> SCOPUS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU24"> PUBMED </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU34"> WOS </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU63"> cav_un_epca*0644473 Sborník příspěvků 14. studentské vědecké konference fyziky pevných látek, fotoniky a materiálů 978-80-01-07499-2 9 15 Praha České vysoké učení technické v Praze 2025 1 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Aubrechtová K. 340 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Kalvoda L. 340 </unknown> <unknown tag="mrcbU67"> Kučeráková M. 340 </unknown> </cas_special> </bibitem>
