This paper deals with establishing relations between a number of widely used nonlinear filters for digital image processing. We cover robust statistical estimation with (local) M-estimators, local mode filtering in image histogram space, bilateral filtering, nonlinear diffusion, and regularisation approaches. We show that their implementation reveals a highly similar structure. We demonstrate that all these methods can be cast in into a unified framework of functional minimisation. |

Článek se zabývá vzájemnými vztahy nejčastěji používaných nelineárních filtrů v oblasti číslicového zpracování obrazu. Studuje lokální M-odhady, lokální filtraci v obrazovém nebo histogramovém prostoru, bilaterální filtraci, nelineární difuzi a regularizační přístupy. Článek demonstruje jednotný přístup k těmto metodám pomocí minimalizace funkcionálu. |
