abstract (eng) Development of advanced environmental system HARP for consequence assessment of radioactive dischaqrges. The latest format of meteorological forecast data is accommodated. An extension of traditional deterministic procedures of assessments towards probabilistic approach is presented. Nesting of the data assimilation steps within the chain of Bayesian forecasting is found to be crucial for effective population protection.
