abstract (eng) The paper introduces advanced performance indicators that are being developed as a set of global cost functions derived from the typical parameters adopted for the evaluation of lateral vehicle dynamics. The validation of the developed method is illustrated by way of model-in-the-loop simulation using IPG CarMaker software. The test programme covers analysis of several standard manoeuvres performed for a simulator - medium-sized passenger car. The analysis of test results shows that the developed methodology is an efficient tool to analyze the vehicle dynamics.
