(eng) |
The paper (in fact one chapter in user guide to XPLORE) explains what is "the least trimmed squares estimator" as well as the ideas behind its definition. Then it describes the properties of the estimator and demonstrates its advantages (in comparison with the classic least squares). Finally, it gives examples of utilization. It also refers to papers offering theoretic background of the estimator. |
