abstract (eng) Purely probabilistic approach (including Bayesian approach) to processing of geodetic measurements is introduced. Arbitrary probability distributions of measurements are theoretically acceptable to produce correct probability distributions of estimated parameters and adjusted measurements. The presented approach offers unique and clear insight into different adjustment and estimation techniques, namely nonlinear estimation, collocation, robust estimation and integer estimation of ambiguities in GPS.
