| abstract
(eng) |
The standard H2 optimal control problem is interpreted as a pole placement design. As a consequence, the optimal controller transfer matrix can be obtained by solving a single one-sided polynomial matrix equation, two matrix spectral factorizations, and three matrix fraction conversions. This makes an attractive alternative to the existing solutions. |
