abstract (eng) This paper introduces a unified chaotic system that contains the Lorenz and the Chen systems as two dual systems at the two extremes of its parameter spectrum. Dynamical behaviour of the unified system is studied in detail. It turns out that this new system represents continued parameterized transition from one of these systems to another and is chaotic over entire spectrum of the key system parameter.
