Purpose:
Prof. Domingo Morales of the University M. Hernandez of Elche (Alicante) visited the Institute in the period of July 4-11, 2009. At 2 p.m. of July 7, 2009, he presented a lecture "Small Area Estimation under Time Models" in the Institute seminar "Pravidelný seminář Rozhodování a řízení za neurčitosti", followed by a discussion on concrete applications in the European census databases. During his visit he also participated in the research of Dr. Igor Vajda presented in his invited lecture at the International Symposium on Clinical Biomedicine in August 2009.
