Description:
An introduction to Cybernetical Physics (an emerging area of research dealing with application of cybernetical methods to studying physical systems) is given. Speed-gradient based solutions for energy control problems in conservative and dissipative systems are presented.
The general ideas are illustrated by examples:
- feedback resonance phenomenon in nonlinear oscillators,
- controlled Kapitsa pendulum,
- feedback escape from potential wells,
- adaptive synchronization of chaotic systems.
