Retinal image data analysis turns out to be a helpful method for early diagnosis of glaucoma and cerebrovascular diseases. However, there is a significant inter- and intra-operator variability and unsatisfactory sensitivity and specificity of individual diagnostic methods. Therefore, development of automated methods for retinal image analysis utilizing fusion of more imaging modalities is essential.
